Got questions about invites…
QHow long will it take to get my invites sorted?
A Invites can really set the scene and can give your guests a sneak preview of what to expect on the big day itself! Typically, invites should be sent out about 3 months before the day, so ideally we recommend you get the ball rolling at least 6 months before. It’s never too early, and the invite design can help to inspire all the other elements of your day. If you do have a short deadline we can still help so don’t hesitate to get in touch.
QWhat’s the best way to word the invites?
A Let’s face it, anything goes these days and invite wording is no exception. If you want something traditional you can send the invites from one or both of your parents. With many couples funding their own weddings, many invites are worded from the couple themselves. We’ve done all sorts and after we have spoken to you we can advise on the best way to word it, or can give you a variety of suggestions to choose from.
QI love your invites but am worried about the cost because they are bespoke. How much can I expect to pay?
A Most of our invites range from about £2 per invite up to £5, this is depending on the complexity of the design and the quantity you need. If you want to explore the invite possibilities why not ask us to work on some designs for you? For £25 we will work on 3 designs just for you, then we can quote exactly what they would cost. The designs can be tailored to your budget, or give you a choice across a price range. If you go ahead with the order we give you the £25 back. Go on, give us a try!
Other wedding questions…
QI have seen so many things I like, I don't know where to start with my wedding theme?
A We are the people for you! We can help by talking through all your ideas and starting to look for trends or common themes that attract your interest. By finding out more about you both and what you like and don’t like generally, we can then start to get some theme ideas in mind. From here we can put together one or more mood boards to enable you to visualise your theme and start to make some decisions.
QWhat can you do to help me with my wedding/civil partnership?
A We can help with as much or little as you want or need. We can just create one element such as invitations or favours, right through to full styling for your day. We can also help with on the day set up or coordination.
QIf I would like you to do all the design work for my wedding/civil partnership, when should I get in touch?
A We recommend you allow as much time as possible. If we are going to work on the inspiration and entire theme for the day, it is best to make an appointment with us very early on – perhaps once you have booked the venue as this can also inspire the theme.
